​Resonare Vocal Ensemble

is a chamber vocal group founded in Rome in 2020. In Turin, the ensemble took part in the Perosi 2022 project, marking the 150th anniversary of the birth of the Piedmontese composer. In 2022, it made its debut at the Teatro Palladium in Rome in collaboration with Università degli Studi Roma Tre, presenting a program of madrigals by Carlo Gesualdo da Venosa. In September 2022, the group performed at the 18th edition of the Festival San Michele Arcangelo in Vittorio Veneto. Later that year, Resonare embarked on an international tour with a series of concerts in Barcelona and Terrassa (Spain) as part of the Festival Internacional Cant Coral Ciutat de Terrassa (December 2022). The ensemble was subsequently invited to the Festival Internazionale di Musica da Camera Concertando 2023 in Rome, and received positive feedback for a concert series held in the cities of Matera and Potenza during the fourth edition of the Festival Resurrexit. In Florence, it took part in the renowned early music festival Floremus 2023, as well as in the ReateFestival in Rieti.
In 2024, Resonare performed at the Papale Basilica di S. Maria degli Angeli in Assisi during the National Convention of the Associazione Italiana di Santa Cecilia. In Milan, it opened the 2024 Season of Palazzo Marino in Musica with a concert at Sala Alessi. It also held a performance in Küsnacht (Zurich), Switzerland, at the St. Georg Church, concluding a choral conducting masterclass.
On the occasion of the 500th anniversary of Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina’s birth, the ensemble was invited to give a monographic concert by the Fondazione G. Pierluigi da Palestrina.
Resonare participated in the 12th edition of the Concorso Nazionale Corale Città di Fermo, receiving 3rd prize in the Early Music category and 3rd overall.
It was awarded 1st prize at the Concorso Riviera Etrusca 2023 in Piombino and achieved a score of 93/100 at the 4th edition of the France Music Competition in Landes Le Gaulois (2022).

The ensemble also won the 1st prize at the Grand Prix del Lago Maggiore in Verbania (2023).
